Expedia and Wizz Air cancellation impossible

I booked a holiday to Milan using Expedia. The flights are with Wizz Air Malta operated by L.Peru. I wanted to cancel and hotel no problem but can't cancel flight. Expedia have messaged called airline and I have done the same chat messages and calls. The flight is Sunday which I won't be on. Don't want refund just to cancel. Any help appreciated

Are you saying you have had no confirmation that the flight has been cancelled, even after both Expedia & you have called/messages them!
What did the Wizz Air say when you called to cancel?
To be fair, If you have no intention of taking the flight and don't want a refund, why does it matter if you cancel the flight or not?

Thank you so much for your input. It states that the no show fee is approx £80 per traveller. I have proof of all my methods of contact etc. so will they be able to charge me in any way?0

If you booked both flights and accommodation with Expedia, that makes it a package as far as the Package Travel Regulations are concerned, which in turn means that all you need to do to cancel is to inform the package organiser (i.e. Expedia) of your intention to terminate the contract, so there's no need for you to be involved in any direct dialogue with airlines or hotels.Kard234 said:I booked a holiday to Milan using Expedia. Possibly evidence of cancellation is required to make an insurance claim?

All very helpful especially re package regulations. Thank you. I have send an email to Expedia stating that information. Hopefully that will be it but it's been the most difficult process. I will let you know what happens as flight is Sunday.0
