Hi I am looking for help.
i have saving I would like to put into Isas.
at moment I have a S&P isa for years now. And no other.
if I open one today a 1 year fixed and max out . When April comes can I open another put in 20k and transfer this years one, once years up in July next year. So one with have say 40 k with interest all tax free. Or do I just leave 2 open .
also can you now open more than one isa in a year as long not to go over 20k limit.
and if you say you have 45k but only want to transfer over 40k to next year can you split it like that to say spend the 5k you left behind .
thankx

All of those things are possible. But transfers are subject to the new provider's conditions around what they will accept.
