The OP has logged in several times since posting. Perhaps not revisiting this thread however - who knows. They have not answered the question on 'where'. I think we can perhaps assume they have move on and plans changed.0

It would mainly be Greece or Italy.

Greece has new rules in place for stays of longer than 29 days in Airb'n'b etc which effectively means they are licensed as long term rentals. No idea whether it applies to hotels or not but they might not want to be taking the chance.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Surely there is nothing to stop you checking out then back in again, or going to a different hotel for a month.0
