Switching broadband & landline

Just wondering if anyone else has had problems with switching broadband & landline, supposed to be easy. Decided to leave TalkTalk after many years due to exceptionally poor customer service. Went to BT. All ordered and going ahead with EE when I found my order had been cancelled. EE say because TalkTalk put a stop on my landline number transfer, TalkTalk deny it. Had to re-order and accept a new phone number and a later installation date leaving me without broadband and phone for 10 days. EE say I can get my old number back after transfer, I can see problems with that arising. Costing more money too which I hope to get back once transferred. TalkTalk 'concerns' just refer to community forum, online chat which is useless and already done or a phone number that doesn't work.

That's why they're cheap, just consider the number lost and update everyone.0
