NHBC Claims / Complaints

Hi, we'd like to canvass your ideas and experiences with NHBC (sorry if this is not the right place to post!).
We filed a claim with NHBC, mainly regarding house-wide soft floor support and deflection, which we believe was due to poor building materials used for the subfloor of our unit.
The first NHBC resolution was taken up by the developer, but the work was partially (only the rooms) done, and we continued to pursue the claim with NHBC. NHBC reassessed and now rendered only a small area of floor needed to be worked on, and with a small budget given (cash settlement). A tradesman who had worked on and knows the houses around our development thinks that the problem is more extensive and NHBC’s offer is too low.
We are quite fed up as this case has dragged on for more than three years. As NHBC pushes to close the case, we are undecided on whether to a) just accept the small budget and move on; b) find some other quotes just to fight for a bigger compensation budget; or c) to insist on our original claims that the problem is more extensive and file a complaint on the current tabled claim/resolution.
We would like to know if you have any experiences on filing complaints with NHBC’s claims—in particular, whether we can no longer accept the original offer if we proceed with the complaint (or where we might find this information)—and any other alternatives that we may consider. Any comments or suggestions are most welcome.
Thanks in advance!

Found them totally useless and unhelpful when we tried to claim for problems in a new build0
