Update — the war is over 😂

Huge thank you to everyone who helped me through this. I’ve just received a General Form of Judgment/Order confirming the claimant filed a Notice of Discontinuance and the hearing has been vacated.

They’ve officially dropped the case. No trial, no CCJ, nothing owed. Finished.

The timing is wild, I was literally 7 days away from my witness statement deadline and was about to start writing it when this letter landed. Couldn’t have cut it any closer.

I honestly wouldn’t have got through this process without the advice on this forum. You all stopped me from panicking and doing something stupid early on. Really grateful for the time people spend helping strangers here. Case closed. I can finally breathe again!

I don’t think I was sent the N279, only the court’s order confirming discontinuance. If I receive it I’ll upload a redacted copy, but I only have the judgment/order at the moment.
