EU261 for flights brought forward?

On 14th April 2024 I booked a return flight from Luton to Salzburg with Easyjet. Easyjet only flies to Salzburg in January at weekends, both Saturdays and Sundays. The flights I had booked were Sunday  12th January to Sunday 19th January.
On 5th June, we I received an email from Easyjet stating that our flight had been cancelled and I had been put on the flights Saturday 11th January and returning on 18th January. 
I was able to rebook the hotel and parking (the parking was more expensive). Am I entitled to compensation or is this cancellation too early notification?

They have given you 7 months notice.   You have by the sounds of it accepted the flight change.  No Compo.

No compensation payable due to the timescale (more than 14 days notification). You could have insisted on flights on the original dates on another airline (if available).

No we are happy with the change. No other flights to Salzburg from Luton and quite rare from other airlines. I was only curious.
