Car Hire insurance question

Good afternoon,
A hotel we are staying at in Europe have car hire.
They are offering car hire at 70 per day or for 80, you get "mixed insurance" which includes everything except theft protection.
What concerns me is there is no Theft protection... how do you cover a car hire that doest have this ?
i see you can get Car hire excess insurance which i seem to understand that it covers excess. But in this case, if the car has no insurance for theft, theoretically there is no excess.... how do you cover this ?

Book a hire car via a UK website. Even if you buy an insurance package with CDW & and Theft, who is to say you will be covered with a hotel supplied car?garydep said:Good afternoon,
