Unfair End of Lease Charges

I did dispute these with the company and they rejected my claim.  I even told them that my car had black mats not grey ones as in the photo with the missing parcel shelf and I had doubts that it was my car.  They was not interested  That is why I went to the BVRLA  and they also rejected my claim.  I have learned the hard way.  I should never of handed the car over without going over the checklist.

How much did all this cost you?

You could call their bluff and issue a 14 day letter "pay up or I'll take you to small claims" - see if that gets them moving.

In your claim letter highlight the points you want to make:

1. I was not asked to sign a check list of the reported faults.
2. The photographs of the recorded faults were not taken at my address in my presence.
3. To the best of my knowledge the two issues were not present when the car left my care.
