Letting Agents Not Paying Landlord

Can I ask if the Letting Agency has the initials "BM"? I had issues with an LA (I was a tennant) near the Isle of Dogs.
Also, it might be worth spending a couple of pounds pulling the Companies House accounts on them (go to companieshouse.gov.uk) to see if they are having money problems etc.
Could you ask if the tennants can pay you directly, then you pass on the fee to the LA yourself?Errors of opinion may be tolerated where reason is left free to combat it. - Jefferson0 -
Hi Melissa
agents not one you noted, but they know who they are, and Its pretty bad if naming and shaming is the only way for folk to do what they should.
I believe they may have some County Court items already noted, but have yet to check this out, but I am taking note of all the great advice folk here are giving me
Will be thinking of going to newspaper columns or even BBC watchdog maybe? what do others think of this approach?

well yes but you MUST give the LA time to pay in writing
If no reply and/or no payment in 14 days, then issue the N1 like I suggestedHead of Personal Injury for a Law Firm In Manchester0 -
I assume that emails to agent giving a Dec 06th Deadline for payments will count as written chance to pay, and before that other emails sent, demanding payment of back funds, constant promises of early Dec, then came and went, then before Christmas and now we move to the New Year. So, is email with deadline dates sufficient?

to be on safe side send copy n1 and give 14 days, else you will issue the same!Head of Personal Injury for a Law Firm In Manchester0
