I am having a problem with downloading the form - it downloads as a pdf and then doesnt seem to save anything I have written? Is this normal? If I had office 365 could I save it as a word document? Sorry it seems like a silly question but Im running out of time and I cant seem to get anything saved and Im getting really anxious and stressed.

After you hit the download option at the top of the screen, be sure to select 'With your changes'.
Alternativity you could print it as a blank form and write it up by hand.
Remember, you have an absolute 13 months deadline (with a good reason for lateness).

Thanks Alice - I'll try. The letter arrived on the 21st June but dated the 15th and I've had Covid and been really ill. Will call tomorrow and see if I can get a bit more time.0

What PDF viewer do you use, or do you use your browser?

Hi - my browser.
Just another question - does anyone know if PIP want evidence of hearing loss? Specsavers want to charge me £59 for a report

You will either need to complete the pdf then print it, or save pdf to computer. If the later you can take your time filling it in as long as you save it everytime.Georgie1410 said:Hi - my browser.

Evidence can help, but not needed, I wouldn't be paying for a report.

Do you not get a copy of your audiogram? That's all you need to prove it.Georgie1410 said:Hi - my browser.

She didnt offer anything but a report for £59 can I ask for an audiogram?0

I know it can be a wait but try your NHS audiology dept, as you won't have to pay them for any records.

I've only ever been to NHS audiology so I don't know exactly how it works with Specsavers, but it's worth a try. (They give a copy of your optical prescription so I assumed they'd give audiograms too like the hospital does - or did, anyway.)Georgie1410 said:She didnt offer anything but a report for £59 can I ask for an audiogram?0 -
I just called them - because the letter is dated 15th June and I didnt receive it until the 21st. So I dont really have 1 month to do the application - they just said to mention why its late in the reconsideration. I also told him about the hearing test - he said to talk about how my hearing loss affects me and that I can get evidence (if needed up to 1 month after). I still really anxious and stressed with it all. I think I will do it over the phone and send it in the post. At least if I call them they can say they received it within the 1 month despite my sending the letter a little later.0
