My mum made an insulated quilt but bled on it while making it which I find gross, what to do?

Of course this will also be blocking but I plan to make it like patio doors so I can slide and access the front and provide light as I want but then slide back when I want full insulation. My mum was not right pleased when I told her that the two days of work she took to make them has gone to waste.
I'd love to see how it works out - would you mind coming back on here, please, and showing us the result?
Are you on any 'campervan' forums, where folk would find this of direct interest, and also lend help and ideas?0 -

Are you on any 'campervan' forums, where folk would find this of direct interest, and also lend help and ideas?Yes I am have been but not posted on them for some time. Just as often people pooh pooh my ideas on there too though for being 'outside the box'. It is worse on van forums in some ways as there are huge egos around established ways of doing things. It is pretty simple actually, just a couple of 'slabs' acting as partitions with some of the thinnest ply wood and a couple of L brackets to allow them to be held fast and still allow them to slide should do it.I am not in a big hurry to do it right now as it is usually in the extreme hot or cold where I want it the most and it has been mild lately so not too motivated to do it.I also managed down to -8c through the winter already however it is more of a refinement to increase efficiency than an essential.I also want to cut my bed into two because the space is so small everything benefits from being modular and working on my electricals behind it is a nightmare right now as I can hardly get in there with my arms and a lot of shouting and swearing involved. If the bed is in two pieces I would then be able to slide out just the section where the electrical board lays behind.1 -
Perhaps keep hold of that quilt for the winter. You might want to hang it up for extra insulation at that point, and there's no light outside anyway in winter.
