    Hmmm - it's still happening; my workaround is to enter 4 blank lines before I start typing, so I can see the text.
    The large circle with the "1" in it is still there.

    Looks like it's resolved now.
    Not sure if it was a Firefox update on my PC or something at the site end.
    But normality is resumed.
