Cracks in rendering after major water leak

We are undergoing insurance repairs for a major water leak. This includes removal of ceilings and plaster on walls in our hallway. We also had large industrial dryers installed for two months.
We have however now noticed cracks in rendering all around the outside area of where the plaster is/has been replaced.
We are obviously thinking this is because of leak especially as a joist over doorway had to be replaced. I am going to discuss with my insurance company but just wanted opinions on here in case they decide it's not related.
The cracks have only appeared in the last couple of months.
