I'm running Quicken 95 on Windows 11 without significant problems. Would be lost without it.
Did you just do a normal click on exe file and everything went  OK. I have Quicken 2000 on windows 7 but need to get a new computer and am concerned about installing on windows 11 as I'm not very IT literate/well skilled.

Any pointers you could provide would be appreciated. Thanks

There's usually a little bit of fiddling around but I don't  keep notes. The one thing you need to do is to take a copy of your quicken.ini file from your existing windows directory and put into the new windows directory after installing quicken on the new computer. Any problems you have will be the new system recognising your registration.

Very straightforward to install. Right click on the .exe installation file, select properties/compatibility mode and then run in Windows XP SP3. Also click the box, run as administrator. Quicken should then install perfectly in Windows 11.

Before running the installed Quicken for the first time, right click the Quicken desktop icon and again select properties/compatability mode. This time select Windows 7 compatabilty (not XP) and again tick the 'run as administrator box'. One final piece of advice is to not to store your Quicken files in the Quicken Program folder but to create a new folder elswhere.

My Quicken runs perfectly using the above.

I thought my Quicken 98 was old but you’ve trumped me.
