MarchPalazzo from $179

I'm somewhat tempted by that...we've booked a suite at Luxor as our try-a-new-hotel-for-a-night this trip but could cancel and book this deal...I wish the $20 food credit was good for something other than the 40/40 club as that doesn't seem like our sort of place.
Also, with some reviews indicating that there's still so much construction going on I'm also a bit reluctant.
Will check with the boss tonight.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
November/DecemberI would love to hear what it's like. Sadly the offer doesn't go on long enough for us to take advantage of it.0
-
MayChecked that link for our dates and they are $299 so I'm very happy with my £195.
The latest reviews on TA are much more favourable than the ones a couple of weeks ago.0 -
i would love cheap flights around 22nd july for a family of 4 if there is such a thing, any pointers please0
-
Marchimpossible to answer that , unless you give us a little more to go on, as there are so many different shows
do you like / want to see ?
between us all i bet we have seen a fair proportion of the resident shows
I would also say we would need to know what sort of price range in order to really begin to give any recommendations...no point in suggesting Cirque shows if the max per ticket at stake is $40 or something.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

Las Vegas and flights from UK are just like any other destination during school holidays ...popular.
unless you consider shopping around for indirect , you will be very lucky to bag a sub £400 fare. your best bet is Thomas cook direct from manchester on wednesdays ( and some saturdays) , leaving at late as possible. beware the 15kg baggage allownace tough.
at least if you do go you will hopefully have some good hotel offers. (providing you don't go trough a travel agent) a lot non uk people will avoid the place in face of the intense heat.
i don't know whats happening with the hotel offers this week , but there is definate famine compared to normal ..
okay i know this is a little bit forward but..... does anyone have a LVA book of values they won't get to use again this year as mine is expired and my subscription is not due to renew before we go.Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:0 -
Have to get suitcases out of the attic and start packing. I'm so NOT organised!
I didn't get chance to apply for Post Office or Nationwide Credit Card. What's next best thing?

Hi trets and all
good to see this post continually growing and giving spot on advice.....
talking of advice...
after an amazing time in Vegas last April , partly with help from this good post (virgin flight for 300 , Planet Hollywood upgraded and cost 59dollars a night!!!) , my g/f and I are planning to go back for Xmas this year..
Miles plus money with virgin - flight is £340..
I know i can get a good hotel deal at Xmas , judging on last years deals.
Thing is , not too sure about the weather and if any of the indoor lush pools are open.
Has anyone spent Xmas in Vegas before?
EDIT-
ok i found this post about the pools, so seem to have answered my own question!!

would still like to hear about any one elses experiance of Xmas in Vegas...
And heres a nice Bellagio pic last time we were in Vegas.
and one of me down town!!0 -
^^ Bottle of Mick... $1 ?? ^^:beer:0

Aprilwe went the week before xmas , and while not hot , the weather was pleasant. long sleeves but no coats needed.
i forgot about that $59 Planet holywood deal  , that really was the bargain. i doubt you will match it again though. . being a national holiday obviously pushes the prices up a bit, but if your flexiable you should find something that suits. if your staying for new year , remember it is the most expensive night of the year to stay in Vegas.£340 is a very good price for Xmas flights IMO...
great photos by the way. it may not host WSOP anymore , but you still have to pay homage to Binions, without out a doubt the most down to earth casino in Vegas . the steakhouse on the top floor is outstanding by the way folks and provides a great view of Downtown and the strip while you eat.dreammachine wrote: »
