On the question of whether BPA's members audit car parks and signage, they have site surveyors (or at least Nexus do). I know one who zooms around Kent, Sussex and Southern London.

Good work on the audits though as is usual in today's GB the laws are there but the enforcement isn't.

    • When on someone else's be it a road, a pavement, a right of way or a property there are rules. Don't assume there are none.
    • "Free parking" doesn't mean free of rules. Check the rules and if you don't like them, go elsewhere

The point being made is that the BPA (and IAS) are required to audit sites and signage, in some form of objective assessment, not members auditing their own signage, which I’d guess they’d be checking if it was still stuck on the pole, not ripped down or defaced.

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
