Small claims track

I had a charge from Bank Park Management that I have seen through with all the templates etc over the last 12months, I have had a letter today saying the judge has allocated this to the small claims track and I need to contact the HMCTS within 7 days to accept the mediation service, it says if the Claimant (BPM) doesn't pay the trial fee then it will be struck out - can you advise what I need to do now please, as I stated I didn't want mediation in my last claim form as advised? The claim date is set for 9th August. Thank you, I just need help getting over this last hurdle...

If the claim was issued before 22 May 2024 then mediation is optional. If you selected NO to mediation then you need to respond to the order and let the court know that detail and decline mediation.3

Then read the second post of the NEWBIES thread because Mediation wasn't your last hurdle.
WS & evidence stage is. Before the hearing.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Sorry can I just check, do I need to 'cc' BPML into the email I send to the court declining mediation?
Also, do I send the email to the HMCTSI email address or direct to my local court?
Thank you0 -
If its not yet been allocated to your local court, then you would use the correct email address as seen in the defence template thread by coupon mad. You haven't shown us this new order, or where it came from, pictures are better than narrative or hearsay
I would have thought that Bank were using a lawyer, usually the claim form paragraph 2 on the left tells you where to send documents, so if its DCB legal or B w legal or a similar lawyer, you should definitely cc them in too
Even if your local court sent out an order to both of you, you would reply and comply with all parties, court plus lawyer is usually the case1 -
I cant seem to download the PDF files to show you the letter, I will just send a copy of the email to everyone, then I've not missed anyone out...0

But not Bank Park themselves, obviously. They are using a solicitor for a reason.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
