Sometimes it is on the key only, sometimes not even there.
There are replacement key providers who can tell you the code for a key from a photograph of it.
We had lost one of our "3 star" external door keys, and the card with the key code on it. A supplier was able to supply an extra key from a photograph of a working one, and the code so long as I purchased the key from them! Cost me £20 and we subsequently found the lost key, as expected. ;)

There is little point in locking internal doors from a security point of view. Secondly, make sure escape routes are not compromised if you do.
It depends some times worth locking internal doors, especially these days most of us WFH!

Another question is ..Is there any high street locksmith that can generate key if I present  lock to them..? I found another internal lock without key, So rather than paying another £50 if its economical hopefully I can get key made from the lock if I get these to any high street chains. Thanks.
Forget "High Street chains", just go to a traditional locksmith. This is their bread and butter. My local one made up keys for a 100 year old Chubb lock that hadn't been used in 20 years due to lack of keys when I took the lock to him.

also found another solution through some skilled blacksmiths on eBay! :)

I opened the lock and provided the lever sequence numbers. With that information, expert locksmiths on eBay were able to identify the Union MxxxM lock number and create a working key for me. So, there was no need to use an original key to make duplicates!

I did spend money on a new lock, but now I have an extra one that I can use elsewhere!

    Thanks everyone for your inputs.

If I buy a key online, I get a friend to buy it for me and pay the friend directly.  That way, the seller has no record of where the key with a particular code works. The friend has ro use their own payment card too as the card billing address is also shown.
