Hi. I just want to add that Hyundai Finance confirm that DCA was in place. I am still waiting to hear back from BMW as they are " responding to large volumes" and nothing back since April.
Thanks MSE as templates massive help.

Hi. I just want to add that Hyundai Finance confirm that DCA was in place.a) was it positive or negative DCA? (or did they not say)
b) did they apply DCA to you or was it available to use generally? (i.e. they had it in place to use where required but it doesn't mean it was used for you)
I suspect you will wait to need until the FCA report and its findings before you find out the answers you really need and not the generic ones you currently have.

My experience is that I have had no response from Hyundai finance to my formal enquiry (7th April 2024), nor to my subsequent request for an acknowledgement of receipt for the re-sent email.
As suggested by the MSE article, I have checked the emails were both sent to the address in the template, and no replies are lurking in my spam folder. Any suggestions?0 -

I had loan with Hyundia for a new car in 2009, I sent the details of the loan agreement, car reg and all the required information, yet the response is we are unable to locate your agreement, it may of been with another agent. I resent with further details as to where the car was purchased and confirmed I had orginal loan agreement that was clealry from HYUNDAI CAR FINANCE LIMITED. I was then told it is part of the Lloyds banking group. As a result, you will need to contact the relevant provider.THere is no mention of Lloyds in the orginal agreement. I am at a loss as to just where and who I contact to progress this, would really appreciate any guidance from forum members. Thank you

Wait until the FCA report is published and what that says about records that have been destroyed.

Hyundai Finance used Black Horse (Lloyds Bank) as their "own label" finance provider in 2009.
In 2011 Hyundai Finance switched to using Santander Consumer Finance as their "own label" finance provider- think the switch was in November.
