I'm still convinced Plusnet will vanish into BT/ EE

    Plusnet TV closed

    Plusnet mobile closed

    Plusnet business broadband closed

Plusnet residential landline to be withdrawn

Plusnet network 100% managed by BT

    It's death by a 1000 cuts
Plusnet was bought out by BT back in 2007 so it has been a wholly owned subsidiary of BT for 17 years now. No new contracts for some time, BT have confirmed that when the remaining contracts expire the name will disappear.

From what i can see, plusnet are still offering new contracts

Interesting that the Plusnet deals are showing CPI +3.9% increases next April whereas BT deals will have a flat £3 increase. Could be that the CPI + % deal might be less of an increase.

The increase for the plusnet package i have in April 2024 was £2.75

Last time I was with PN I was put on the bad boys pipe.

    what do you mean?
Back in the day PN put the heaviest downloaders on the same "pipe" so speed as very limited. Due to the bad publicity it actually didn't last that long.

They've just announced a new pricing structure "more in line with parent company BT/EE "

It may be worth contacting Plusnet as they may be able to move your phone service over to BT or EE once the service closes.
