  • Good start!

I'm not sure what I'm saving for now tbh. I'll start it again maybe next month and just add as and when I can.

    I also need new flooring.

We’ll be the carpet Queens when we’ve completed the challenge!

No new additions here, I’m living on air after a weekend spent in Austria, Liechtenstein and Switzerland. A fiver for a Latte, but worth it for the scenery 😁

  • Oh my god that sounds like the dream!

I've hit a pause on my overseas travel because of my dogs. I'll travel all over the UK with them now.

My dogs stay home with my son. He uses every mug, plate and towel while I am gone, but that’s the price I pay to travel. A weekend away followed by a week of amazement at how much mess a lazy lad can produce in 3 days.

  • Aw that's great.

My 2 stayed with my sister when I had to travel down south for a funeral and she had to syringe water into his mouth. Didn't eat or drink for 3 days.

Buttttttt I love my dogs more than I love a holiday.

I've wanted to travel all over the UK for years but never did cos any chance I got I was away on a cruise or something so I'm compiling a list of places I want to go.

    Thinking Wales next year.

    Whereabouts in Wales?

Lots of lovely waterfall walks in the north and Tenby, in the south, is very pretty.

I have a campervan dream. Get my apartment rental ready(new flooring!), buy a long wheelbase off grid camper van, and travel the UK with the pooches. I can do a lot of my job remotely, so I could travel 4-5 days per week, then park up on the driveway of one of my children’s homes when I need to attend f2f meetings. All pie in the sky, but I enjoy the dream.

  • I have no idea! Near the coast probably - haven't really started to look into it yet.

That sounds like an amazing dream to me.

What breed of dogs do you have? I've got 2 collies.

I have a Cocker Spaniel and she has a Chihuahua 😆

I bought my dog a dog of her own, in the hope that I would get some peace when I work from home. Now I have two dogs pestering for cuddles 😆

I saw a gorgeous Cocker Spaniel puppy today. Four months old and her tail was wagging her whole body. I had lots of fusses with her. The human attached to her lead asked when she would calm down. I had no words of comfort. My 9 year old is still crackers, with an endless capacity for sniffing and running around trees.

  • Yeah our breeds don't really calm down do they!

They'll go from puppy to OAP one day LOL

I’ll be sad when that happens, but it does seem that spaniels cut out middle age and go straight from hyperactive teenagers to zimmer frames. They’ve no concept of their ange-related limitations and bounce into arthritis and hip issues. My pooch would run loose for hours, if I let her, and then collapse in a heap when we got home. She hasn’t learnt the ‘pace yourself’ command!

Nothing added to envelopes here. Plan is to fill a few on pay day. I’m amazed that the small gestures I have in my binder are still there!
