100 Envelope Savings Challenge

So I'll be starting this challenge this month.
100 envelopes numbered 1-100 and you add the corresponding amount of cash into the envelope (or online if you prefer) and once completed you will have a total of £5,050!
Now I'm going into this with the full awareness that it will take me years to complete this challenge but I'm okay with that.
Anyone want to join me?

Not a challenge for me, I’d probably lose the envelopes but you could mix it up and fill up envelopes based on random bits of money becoming available. It might help manage the bigger amountsMortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. Yeah that's a way to do it too - I'm marking off the amounts and adding the cash to my savings account so not lying around the place.
Just a good wee challenge for me.Debt Free - 4th June 20252 -

Baby steps to start off with. I put a £2 coin in yesterday and £1 today. I’m planning on saving my £2 coins for the £12,£22 etc envelopes. I can see this binder getting difficult to close very quickly!
I won’t be adding to it daily, just when I have the right combination of notes and coins.
im saving for new flooring in my flat. Can’t decide between carpet and laminate, but the carpet that’s down now has been there since 2002! It’s minging!!
The flat is an ex-rental. The carpet is threadbare in high traffic areas and I’ve had to cut some away because my pooch pulled at the threads and it kept catching in the vacuum rollers and unraveling even further. It’s clean(ish) because I run my rug doctor over it regularly, but nothing can make it look like anything but a 22 year old carpet.MBNA 237.47/13997.47
