Help! Keycard not working - Renault Megane coupe (09) stuck in carpark

Help!
Car only has one keycard - it's not working - went over the road to local garage & they changed the battery in it but still not working - it feels as though it's not 'clicking' when the unlock button is pressed - what's the best MSE way to fix this please?
(Supermarket has taken car reg & say won't get a PCN from private car parking company today...)

Just spoken to Renault dealership - they are saying 10 days to get a replacement keycard because the car is so old...

Does it have a manual key 'hidden' within the fob?

Thank you so much - had just found that too!
Have someone coming out today as will need new keycard anyway (only ever had one) but at least if they are late, should be able to get the car home today at least

Is £190 + VAT an ok price (call out) does anyone know please?

Is your time without a car worth less than £190 + VAT or would your time with the car be worth more?

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

It’s a shame you did not have RAC cover, plus key cover when you lost your key.
They would have got you a new key, just a thought.
    For the future. Cough, cough.
Plan for the future, scan and upload, driving license, log book, passport etc to a folder in your email.

I am explaining what a decent price is.

If you want to wait and not have a car and use your free time to shop around for something cheaper (factoring in the cost of your time, cost of not having the car etc) then it might be expensive.

If you want the car and will save money e.g. by not needing to use public transport and being able to get around with your car again, then it's a good price.

For me, if I needed the car for work/leisure/shopping etc and didn't want to keep travelling around and giving up my time to ring around dealers and such, £190 might be reasonable. If I could leave the car for 2 weeks more while haggling around around for someone cheaper to come out, it would be expensive.

If you saved £10 by not using the person you spoke to but didn't have the car and meant you spend £15 on public transport or lost another days work it would not work out cheaper to use the £180 person.
