Hi @KeithP, many thanks for your response. Please see below acknowledgement of service. What do you advise I do next if this is all above board and correct?

In your opening post on this thread you wrote...
There is nothing in the sticky threads about sending off a form to Acknowledge Service of the Claim and anyone reading that would reasonably assume that you actually used MCOL - MoneyClaimsOnLine - to file the Acknowledgment of Service.Ameliebear23 said:I have now sent off my AOS to the MCOL as per the sticky threads...
Sadly, I suspect that the CNBC didn't receive your Acknowledgment of Service form or they failed to record it properly.
Now, please can you log in to MCOL and copy and paste you MCOL Claim History into your next post on this thread.2 -
Yeah, sorry that is what I meant. I did use the MCOL website to acknowledge my service.KeithP said:In your opening post on this thread you wrote...

I am desperately trying to log into the MCOL service but have forgotten my password. When I select forgotten password it asks for my email address which I then put in. I then receive a 6 digit code which I put in and it then asks for my gov gateway ID which I enter and it just seems to take me away from the claim page. It doesn't then ask me to choose a new password so that I can log in via the MCOL page. Do you know what I am doing wrong?

Then why at 7:34PM did you show us a copy of a paper form?Ameliebear23 said:

Without your MCOL Claim History you are going to have to ring the CNBC - number on your Claim Form - and ask them why you have a Default Judgment against you. Whilst talking, ask them to email you your MCOL Claim History.2 -
That was a screenshot on my phone that I took at the time. I have just emailed the MCOL customer helpline email to see if they can send me a link to reset my password. I have provided them with my MCOL customer number and password which is apparently what you need so hopefully I can gain access.KeithP said:

What is it that you are looking for from the history online? Will it give me a status of the claim?0 -
It was the PDF readable version that was available for download in read only after I submitted the claim online that I took a picture of. Hope that makes sense.Ameliebear23 said:

I'm expecting that it will show that they have failed to record your Acknowledgment of Service, but I can't see how that could happen if you used the online process.Ameliebear23 said:What is it that you are looking for from the history online? Will it give me a status of the claim?
I'll leave it to others to try and explain how you might prove you did send it and that any failure is of their doing.2 -
Yes it would, like studying a bank statement
We assume that you received the auto acknowledgement email AFTER you submitted your defence. ?
If yes, the error was at the CNBC and we have seen a few failures recently, especially when the crowd strike incident happened
They may have found their error and corrected it, or may not, which we would know if you could login and copy and paste your claim history below
You may have to complain, first by telephone tomorrow, and depending on what you find out, you may have to email them about their error, like several other people have done recently, due to receiving the letter that you did1 -
That's useful.Ameliebear23 said:

You hopefully have, or can get, date and time information of when you downloaded it - i.e. the date and time that the image file was created on your device.3 -
I hope that the CNBC will tell you tomorrow when you ring them TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THEIR OVERSIGHT, that they found your defence and have already set aside that erroneous judgment.
This is why you needed to look at your MCOL History because if they've reversed this and found your defence by now, the MCOL History will show it. We had two cases just like this last month. Now back on track.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
