I'd take the Hyundai Tucson out of anything mentioned so far. Would also still be in warranty.

Ours is now 8 years old, quality wise been very good and far better than a friends similarly aged Tiguan. Will replace it with another one when the time comes.

As an Audi owner as well, it’s as well built as that. For an SUV in the VAG group, buy a Skoda, you get nothing extra with the VW. Unless it’s a badge thing.
My opinion if buying an SUv in the VAG group is buy a SEAT, better value than the Skoda

I’m also in the market for a SUV with new granddaughter on the scene. The Civic Type R will not do.

I have narrowed the choice down to Skoda Karoq Sportline or a Seat Ateca Experience. Both cars score highly on Parker’s reviews, in fact higher than the cars you listed. I’m open to a new car up to 2 years old, whenever I see the car for me. The Skoda Karoq is particularly pleasing.

We have an Ateca experience, we haven’t had any problems and it’s a nice drive it’s the Auto. We had a  SEAT Leon for 8 years before that and again no issues

BMW and Audi SUVs tend to attract a negative response from other road users. Something to consider.

I had a Tucson for a while and really liked it. The boot was a slightly funny shape so it couldn't take quite as much as you'd expect (I couldn't get one of those little tyke bubble cars in).

Though honestly I regret not changing it for the dreaded Citroen Berlingo earlier. The sliding doors are a game changer for access, the boot is cavernous and there are cubbies everywhere for storage.
It's painfully uncool, miserable to drive and won't make anyone jealous, though.

I got one recently, and very happy with it.

    Seven years warranty too.
