Easyjet 23kg hold luggage

Options
I have booked 23kg hold luggage and I am unsure if that means I can take 1 bag weighing up to 23kg or if I can take 2 bags weighing up to 23kg? I looked on their website but couldn't find any clarification on the subject.
It's just my opinion and not advice.

    Hold luggage

Each customer including children and infants can buy up to three hold bags. A standard hold bag is 23kg. You can buy extra weight in 3kgs units, up to a maximum of 32kg per bag.

If you’re travelling with family or friends on the same flight and booking, you can pool your total weight allowance.

This means that the total weight allowance can be split among the total number of bags booked, as long as no single item weighs more than 32kg. Maximum total size (length + width + height) = under 275cm.

Yes, I have read that,  to me that is still ambiguous I have one 23kg bag booked does that mean I can take 2 suitcases? I'm not sure. I'm not travelling with friends or family.

My interpretation of this is that if a standard bag is 23 kg, then two bags would have 2x23kg as their starting point.
Thereafter each bag can be bigger (not smaller) by 3 kg increments to a max of 32 kg for a single bag.
Yes you can pool your luggage.
But I don’t see that you can divide the minimum 23kg into two or three bags.

I suspect if you book 23kg of luggage it will be charged as £x per 23kg bag or part thereof. ie you will be charged for 2 x23g bags if, for example you have two 10kg bags.

No, you've booked one bag. That bag can weigh up to 23kg.

It's weight can be increased in 3kg chunks if you pay extra, but you've still only booked one bag.

If you'd booked 2 bags, you could have one at 32kg and another at 14kg.
