DCB Limited debt collection letter which can be ignored. Likely next step will be a Letter Of/Before Claim Claim from DCB Legal. That will need attention as per the NEWBIES FAQ Announcement, second post,

Which parking firm is their client?

Have you read this thread - first few posts, then sample others linked to the parking firm pursuing you.

You really need to ask yourself why you received nothing earlier.
Is it perhaps because your vehicle's Registration Document(V5c) has an out of date keeper's address on it?

Why would one letter go to one address and this to that address surly would all be sent to same address

Debt collectors will use tracing companies where earlier correspondence has gone unanswered. It costs them 29p to verify a current address.

If your V5C is not up to date, please go online to the DVLA website and update it - 2 minute job. DVLA can issue fines of £1,000 for an out of date keeper address.

The initial address is found when the parking company do a DVLA lookup and get the official RK details on file, they can only do this once per contravention

Any subsequent letters to different addresses are where people have moved, failed to or been tardy in updating their V5C with the DVLA and so the parking company initiate a Trace of the latest address costing around 29p

But I think that you are asking the wrong questions

Name the parking company, because they are the Claimant, not the powerless debt collectors

    One scenario might be...

When they received no response from the first address, they passed the matter on to DCB Ltd.

DCB Ltd did a search and found another likely address and sent you that most recent letter.

So, what is the answer to that question I asked?

If you don't respond to that letter, then DCB Ltd report back to the parking company - who is the parking company? - that they cannot find you.

The parking company then rub their hands with glee and raise a court claim at that out of date address in the expectation that no response will be received.

A Default Judgment is then awarded against you - because you knew nothing about the case and were therefore unable to defend yourself.

Miraculously, the Claimant then finds you again and pesters you for the money awarded by the court.

To avoid all that you must make sure that everyone in this game always knows a current address for you.

You must update the address on your V5c.

    Never pay a scammer.

Ask the DCA who the PPC is and contact them giving you new address.  If you fail to do this you could get a CCJ down the line
