Wasn't keen when I called them and they immediately tried to push me to their mortgage brokers, and I felt like I had to jump through hoops just to book a viewing (which has yet to be confirmed).
I've since read a few things about them - mostly about their dire conveyancing firm. I'll be asking about this AML fee when I go to view with their 'local representative'.0 -

We once viewed a house being marketed by PB. Never again. Not only did it take us ages to actually get them to commit to a viewing slot but the PB agent, when we did finally view, knew absolutely nothing about the house and had clearly only just got out of bed after a heavy night. It was out the other side of unproffessional. Thankfully, in the event we didn't like the house much anyway!

This has been an eye opener and I would never use them now going forward. If i see a house advertised under them in future I would avoid like plague as they are a money spinning cowboy EA making money from both seller and buyer without worrying about house offers being withdrawn as they win with their fixed fee anyway. It's the seller that loses out in the end as the offer on house has been reduced by £500 due to the time dealing with these idiots. If the buyer don't like it I will back out of deal. BEWARE BUYERS USING PBs0
