New Code of Practice from industry groups

THE PR Dept of the BPA now working the media.
Just more propaganda because the BPA/IP code of practice is simply a sham
It was also mentioned of ITV GMB today and the reporter ended by saying .... it's not legal ? mesning it is NOT a law.
There is only one law and that was passed by the Queen until money scammers intervened.
This is still with the Dept of Levelling Up which so far have been useless and produced yet another SUNAK failure. The man said he was on the side of motorists .... just more words ??
In the very unlikely event that Sunak is PM next week, he will have to replace Gove but with whom, all of them should be wearing nappies ?
In the very likely event that Starmer WINS next week, he has Angela Rayner for the Dept of Levelling up and I doubt she will take the BPA SHAM lightly. I am certain that with pressure groups including the RAC foundation, she will want to button this up quickly
NOBODY SHOULD TAKE ANY NOTICE OF THIS BPA/IPC shan especially with the two jokers being POPLA and the IAS
Such a sham will end up with the courts acting as an ADR ?
I wonder what Mr Upskirt would have said

I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

It was on the Radio 5 Live news every 30 minutes this morning, repeatedly using the term 'fine', although during one of the longer bulletins they had a vox pop from the RAC expressing their disapproval.2

This is on ITV news tonight
It seems that ITV have also been sold the pup that the BPA are some sort of authority when in reality they operate the biggest scam in the UK
Fancy ... the BPA releases total rubbish to the media

It will happen.
Nobody is fooled by this anti-consumer crap. The BPA and IPC are an embarrassment, IMHO.
As it says in the thread linked by @Umkomaas this (below) managed to be quickly pushed through in May, so none of the 2019 Act is left not 'in force':The Parking (Code of Practice) Act 2019 (Commencement) Regulations 2024 (legislation.gov.uk)
Previously, all the important parts of the 2019 Act were left hanging so the above statutory instrument was required:
https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2019/8/section/12
It had previously said:
"2) The remaining provisions of this Act come into force on such day as the Secretary of State may by regulations appoint."
So now it's all in force from 20th May 2024 because those Regulations were rushed through. The timing can't have been a coincidence, so it is clear that the Code won't disappear.
Yes there's an inevitable delay with a new Government, but we will get there...whoever is the relevant Secretary of State will be required to carry on with the final draft IA & Public Consultation and then laying the Code before Parliament.
Then Scotland can decide (in 2025) when to continue with their completely STUPID idea to inflict a copy of the awful POFA Schedule 4 on Scottish motorists. I suspect they'll wait until the new Appeals Service is starting to hear cases.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I heard it on one of the radio news bulletins and almost thought it was the "proper" one until I heard some of the stuff in there that others have already mentioned. As I was in the middle of a six hour drive, I couldn't check it out. Mrs Le_Kirk gets upset when I balance my laptop on the steering wheel.3
