  • Just had mediation phone call. I offered nothing. She did say to me that they have a picture of the signage behind my vehicle. Which I genuinely don’t recall? It was also so long ago. Did get me a little worried if I’m being honest.

Should have asked her to read out what it said.
  • Well she said they were stating they had submitted an image as evidence with a sign behind my vehicle which proves I’m at breach of the contract apparently. She then told me they would start the settlement at £170, she did seem surprised that I was willing to pay zero. Was over pretty quickly, will wait to see what happens next.

That's out of her remit and just hearsay. Stupid mediator. She's not a Judge. Waste of time.

I just wish that defendants would have the gumption to tell the mediator to go sit on a sharp stick and rotate... unless they are the judge in the case.

I'd quite like to do mediations for people.

But I'm a bit busy with stuff.  I'll do one for a friend maybe.

    Good.

Expect a discontinuance but prepare your WS & evidence before Christmas, just in case.

    What's your WS deadline?
