The issue lies with your bank, rather than Tandem themselves.
How can you categorically state this when you don't know which bank it is? It's not as if Tandem is the perfect savings institute where any problems with their systems must be somebody else's fault.
The problem the OP is having doesn't have anything to do with Tandem's systems - the transaction has been blocked before it even reaches Tandem. Tandem are a legitimate, FSCS-protected bank so, as there are no issues in that respect, the sending bank's anti-fraud measures will have kicked in because they've decided that the transaction the OP attempted doesn't fit their normal pattern.

I'm having issues with my bank transferring money across to The Tandem bank.  Every time I make a deposit the fraud department call me up with a 10 minute grilling, is anyone else finding this an issue with their bank?
I've not had any issues with transfers to Tandem being blocked personally (and that includes larger sums) but, unfortunately, a bank's anti-fraud measures can often appear quite random in nature (and for good reason), so one person can have issues with transferring to Tandem from their bank, but this doesn't mean that another customer of the same bank won't. It's frustrating, but it's just the way it is.

A good example of this is Santander, who are re-known for their over-active anti-fraud measures. There are many posts and comments on Santander blocking payments out of their accounts on this forum, but I've never had a problem.
