  • £180 which works out at just over £40 a week (£40.60), minus the first week, so starting today with £140.

    I haven't been on here for years after my laptop broke and wasn't in a position to get a new one and I don't like it on my tiny phone screen. I have a cheap laptop now so I can join in again.

    £40 is just for me and as much as my budget will allow. I live with my adult son who has disabilities but he has his own money. A lot less than I'm used to so will definitely be a challenge!

    I checked my grocery spending for July which came to £190 for the two of us, but DH has shopped for milk and added some yellow stickered fruit, so I estimate it was £230. Some extra items in my bill were the cod liver oil 3for2 for the dog, and biscuits for the bowls club.
