Hello
If you receive contribution based ESA and receive inheritance from sale of parents home since they have passed (only about £17k) will this affect benefit payment? tia

No.... as C-based ESA is not means tested...i.e. savings you hold are not considered.
It could affect any means tested benefits if you claim any."Do not attribute to conspiracy what can adequately be explained by incompetence" - rogerblack1 -
