Changing networks
I'm a little confused about changing networks and keeping my phone number. I understand about getting a PAC from my old network and giving it to my new one.
But do I get a SIM from the new network, activate it, and THEN give them the PAC? Or do I give them the PAC as part of the process of ordering a SIM from them (I do want a SIM-only deal)? Or something different from either?

As part of the process of ordering the new SIM there should be an option to "keep my number" in which case you enter the PAC at that point.New SIM gets delivered and you put it in phone and that activates it with new number. Over a period of, hopefully less than 24 hours, the new number gets replaced with your old, current phone number. I find it it is best to do this at the beginning of a week as weekends can slow things down.Things that are differerent: draw & drawer, brought & bought, loose & lose, dose & does, payed & paid0

If you are changing to a network that you haven't used before ,it's worth holding back with the PAC until you have tested the new network. Once you are happy with the service (ie speed of connection ,quality of calls etc) then switch your number.0
