Is there a way of keeping my phone number

I'm currently with smarty mobile but I'm thinking about going with spusu so if I do change over I will give my daughter my smarty sim card but is there a way I can keep my smarty number and get her to have a different number without cancelling the sim then signing up for a new contract

If you want the number you'll need to transfer it to your Spusu SIM and that will cancel the Smarty SIM so you can't really give your daughter the SIM, she'll need a new one0

No, the porting process will always close down the account you are porting your number from. So your Smarty account will close when you port and the SIM will no longer be provisioned.0

Why do you want to give your daughter your sim card? If you are not tied to a contract you could order another sim and package for her. If you are tied in then you might be able to request a second sim and swap numbers between them, allowing you to port away your number. But this is unlikely. If you have a particular reason to keep this sim active you will probably need to use a different number on spusu and your daughter will probably want to port her existing number to your smarty sim if she uses it.Idontlikeworking said:I'm currently with smarty mobile but I'm thinking about going with spusu so if I do change over I will give my daughter my smarty sim card but is there a way I can keep my smarty number and get her to have a different number without cancelling the sim then signing up for a new contract0 -
My daughter needs a sim card so as I'm only paying smarty £15 a month for unlimited data, calls and texts this will be perfect for her. If I order a new smarty sim then I won't be able to use my email address again so I can keep a track of the account.savergrant said:

You can always open up a 'throw away' email account just for that one purpose - e.g. Idontlikeworking1@gmail.com, rather than Idontlikeworking@gmail.com.Idontlikeworking said:

Does your email supplier support aliases? You can have a new account at Smarty using (say) email.address+smarty@gmail.com and it will direct all email to that address to your "ordinary" account.JGB1955 said:

This seems to suggest you can manage multiple sims through one account;Idontlikeworking said:
