sky bb and talk renewal query

my bb and sky talk package is (61mbps and pay as you talk) contract ends 1st August. 
I'm paying £24pm, however it jumps to £43pm out of contract after, or if i re-contract it's £38. 

I also have sky q box - no movies or sports and it does me and family ok. Not sure why i did not receive renwal details on this. 

Anyway, should i shop around for bb and phone, then call sky and haggle for a better price than £38pm or is there another tactic?

Always compare the market and bounce any new customer deals off them.  Ensure anything you do bounce is genuine or at least sounds incredibly plausible - they do check.

However if you do this you must remember to strip out the cost of the TV as it won't be a fair comparison if you just want a new deal on the internet.

That being said you may be able to bundle your TV and internet together for a deal that may wipe the floor with an offer just for phone/internet.
