Excel Parking PCN

Hi looking for a little help,
My son bought a 24hr ticket from these guys and parked his car for a few hours the first night and then left. He returned again the next day and parked again all within the expiry time of the ticket but has since recieved a PCN from them with . We still have the ticket which clearly shows the valid to time. I was wondering as we are in Scotland should we just ignore (I've done this in the pat) or should we appeal. I dont want to appeal if they decline (dont see how) and we then need to pay a crazy fine. Thanks

Its not a fine, its an invoice
Currently there is no keeper liability in Scotland, plus no matter what anyone uses to appeal, Excel are not going to cancel the PCN
So the keeper should probably ignore the PCN, and subsequently ignore any debt collectors letters too
Things will probably change by next year once the GE is over and done with due to previous Scottish government laws, but hasn't happened yet1 -
Please read the Newbies/FAQ thread. In Scotland you can safely ignore it. It tells you why in the Newbies/FAQ thread.2

Thirded - but do search the forum for:
Scotland keeper liability 2025
...because for new PCNs (not this one) things will change in a few months, so you and all Scottish drivers will need to be MUCH more careful.
I posted a bit about the changes and statutory regulation coming to Scotland, in a reply earlier this week.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hey guys, searched a few of the other threads and not sure where I stand. Got a letter from Pollock Fairbridge stating they will 'raise sherrif court proceedings to recover the outstanding sum'. As I understand it this it more a debt collection ? assume I should still ignore. Appreciate your input here. Thanks.0

What was the charge on the original PCN and what are they saying is the "outstanding sum" now?0
