Why are Banks flagging up some of these Prepaid eCards when wanting to pay/Transfer Money into them from Credit Cards or a Bank? Some people think all these eCards are Banks but actually are not and its causing problems and confusion as to why. If you look and search Google enough you will probably find out why. Because these eCards are sometimes linked to your Bank or issued by a Bank so it might be no problem at all but if its one of the Prepaid eCard's that are not by a Bank and isn't a Bank it could be run by an ordinary company and have the ability to register with little evidence or proof of who you are or where you live sometimes without an address so the Banks could block payment as its been seen to them these days as a risk and they think it could be linked to Scams and or Fraud in some way. Some of these eCards are issued by a an ordinary Company which is not a Bank and that has very little or no regulation the same as Credit Cards and Banks have, and that they trade and issue eCards under different names so it gets confusing. These eCards are not covered under the compensation scheme like you Credit Card or Bank is. Government, Banks and Regulators are clamping down on Fraud as you might know and we even seen about them stopping you spending your own money!? So be aware that at any time there could be some kind of problem. There's quite a lot of information about why your Card or5 eCard has been Refused (out of date/not enough funds etc) but not much in the way of - Why has my Bank refused to pay someone with a Prepaid eCard?
