Ryanair payment reminders being Junk/Spam filtered

Has anyone else had an experience where reminders to complete payment from Ryanair are being junk/spam filtered out?
Ryanair have an "Instalment Payment" option whereby you pay a 50% deposit up front and the other 50% no less than 40 days before flying. I chose this option (months ago) and paid the 50%.
I received my activation code (from myryanair@ryanair.com) and itinerary (from itinerary@ryanair.com) no problem.
Then other day I received an email (from info@care.ryanair.com) telling me that my booking had been cancelled and my deposit refunded because I hadn't made the second payment. Because I hadn't made the payment, they would only give a refund in the form of a voucher to be redeemed within the next 3 years.
Confused at how I'd missed the reminders and checked my Spam folder and, sure enough, there they were. They had the subjects "Reminder: the balance of your booking is due to be paid soon" and "Final Reminder: the balance of your booking is due to be paid soon", which seem unlikely candidates to trigger a Spam filter.
On closer inspection, these important reminders were sent from service@ryanairemail.co.uk - not from anything on the ryanair.com domain.
The only other @ryanairemail.co.uk address I can find a record of is marketing@ryanairemail.co.uk which was used to ask customers to review flights (and which many assumed was a scam or spam).
Am I being cynical in wondering whether Ryanair are deliberately sending payment reminders from an address that is likely to get filtered out as junk/spam so that customers will miss their payment and potentially forfeit their refund (since the funds cannot be withdrawn as cash)?

Yes, you are being cynical, Ryanair can use any of their registered domains to send customers information.
Checking your spam folder should be a daily task with any email account.
Also, you should've used another reminder for the date the payment was due.

Best to set up your own reminder / diary note. You will have known the deadline for payment by working out 41 days before flight date.0

Learn how to whitelist?
Or, as someone suggested - set a calendar alert. That's what I do with anything that involves installments.0 -
Yes you are being cynical.
Onus is on you to remind yourself of the balance due date by recording in a diary, calendar or elsewhere. Also on you to check your junk folder regularly for important emails.

Ryanair have a business to run. Far too busy to be out to create conspiracy theories. As they don't pay the bills. Deliquent customers are actually a cost burden as they asborb a huge amount of time.0

I've just had the same issue, except Ryanair tell me that they don't send any reminders. It's a fairly obvious play - cancel people's flights 40 days before travel and most will have to immediately rebook at a higher price
Just for added fun they put the refund credit in a wallet which can't be spent without an emailed verification code, which never arrives
