Thought I would share this. Hope this helps someone, reading about unfair Oxwich Bay Car park:
Apparently, POPLA upheld an appeal against Eternity Fire and Security, for inadequate signage, at entry, details are on the Boycott Oxwich Bay FB page listed by Zhbubuman above:
"success!!!!
POPLA have approved my case and I have successfully appealed against eternity and oxwich bay car park!!! I'm over the moon. I will be sending the response I received to tonia Antoniazzi office for her colleagues to investigate more. POPLA were very supportive of the evidence I sent and I quote " what signage there is in the area is not obvious or visible and it is believed that the car park is deliberately making signs hidden in order to issue PCNs for a disgusting amount of money"POPLA are on our side guys! Keep fighting. The main grounds for appeal that was accepted is that the change to the parking restrictions haven't complied with BPA standards. 'When there is any change to the existing parking terms of a car park, then additional temporary signs must be placed at the entrance to the car park for no less than 4 months from the date of change" these changes were made 02.05.2024 and no sign is displayed. Use this as your main point in all appeals. This is what got me my successful appeal."
Lots of people being caught and billed as gates here are left open to catch people and a lot of their signs are stored in hut overnight)
Is it not a requirement that prices are displayed permanently? Or is that not the case for Private Car Parks?

That was not my PCN - I was just sharing another person's success to help other readers.
@KeithP You are correct - I had downloaded an old version of the BPA's code of practice and that, section now sems absent, unsure how to edit my earlier post0 -

Is the up to date BPA CoP sector single Code of Practice Version 1 140824.
Is it a requirement therefore that this car park signage on entry should have its parking tariff on display, not as in this case where the ticket operator puts a sandwich board outside his hut, and removes it when he goes home?0
