Hello,

We have submitted a claim to Manchester Airport who have provided a response we are not happy with but are now no longer responding to any emails we send. On there website, it says you can take it further to the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform however can UK residents still use this after Brexit?

What’s the complaint and what relationship did you have with the airport I.e did you pay them for services ? And what are you wanting from the complaint ?

It was in relation to the parking and complaint about the service recieved including the driver. They have offered something but we dont think that is acceptable and they havent responded to any further emails. We either want a full refund or better offer than they have said.

You’re still being very vague about what the claim actually is. Why do you think a full refund is warranted?

No, the EU ODR isn't available to you any more.  You'll have to sue them if you want more money, and for that, you'll need some sort of evidence for claiming the amount you are.

What did you pay and what have they offered?

Assuming the official Meet & Greet and you’ve followed their complaints procedure then it’s time to either initiate court proceedings or to look at S75 depending on value and whether you paid by credit card.

FWIW I’ve experience of this - I returned to find my car damaged (collision damage on 2 panels), reported it before I left the site, they investigated, accepted responsibility and paid for repair and hire car as well as refunding my payment. It was a clear case given the images taken on arrival.

If it’s something more subjective (e.g service) then the value assigned to it is also likely to be subjective
