Shark vacuum cleaner - praise

I love my Shark Lift-away. This week it suddenly started cutting out when I was using it. My hubby diagnosed the fact that the cord had got a small split in it and a wires broken. I checked my purchase details - I purchased it in 2019 and it had a 5 year warranty which is nearly out of time. I rang Shark uk and after explaining what the problem was and emailing them a photo, they contacted me within a matter of hours. The customer service advisor said she was sending out a replacement motor and cord. (It is all in one so couldn't just send a cord) That was on the 18th June and today 19th June the replacement arrived. A simple matter of clicking the new one into place and good to go. I think Shark deserve praise for this as they could have said that the problem was wear and tear. I can highly recommend them to anyone needing a new vacuum.

I must admit ive always had a good service from Shark with replacement parts.
Its a shame the same can't be said for their sister company, Ninja who I now refuse to buy from due to multiple issues and poor customer service.FTB - April 20201 -
Thanks for sharing. I'm now even happier that I bought a Shark
