BT Broadband - Do They Know?

Faced with not being able to continue my Virginmedia service
because I am moving and they don’t service my new address, I’m forced to look
elsewhere for my broadband, and TV services.
I’m moving to quite a rural location, but I know a speed of 900mb is possible there.
However, if I put in my postcode to BT Broadbands checker, I get the message
Sorry, we can't find results for your address at the moment
We're updating our systems and we hope this will be fixed soon
However, far from this being a temporary thing, this has been
like this for weeks and, furthermore, the same message seems to crop up
whatever postcode I try, even ones where I know BT Broadband is in use!
I will go elsewhere for what
I require, not just because I can’t get anywhere with them anyway, but
if takes them this long to fix their own equipment, I won’t trust getting anything
from them.
It seems insane….how many people are being driven away by this or am I missing
something?

BT are just one of a lot of providers who use the OpenReach network have you tried any of those?0

Hi K-p yeah I know. I just think it's strange that BT should keep something on their site for so long which would only drive customers away!0

Is your new address on a new build estate? Its common in that regard to be locked to a provider that will power that estate exclusively for x months/years, and until that period expires, no Openreach provider will be able to provide you with a service.0
