It is! But I warn you - its not as easy as you think! My sisters lot are far in the lead with the bad taste stuff, which is why the 'pinching' things is so far appealing to me! She does the naff so much better than me!

Think I'd be good at 'thieving' tho..... Although she does have a key to my house and I work full time - oooh, bit of a glitch here...

Oooooo, we do this too (although I have to admit that sometimes the recipients don't know they're part of the game lol, sometimes it's highly amusing if people aren't sure how to 'take' a present ). The BEST present we found this year was a pound shop mug for OHs brother - it freaked us out totally as it looked JUST like him, and said something about fishing (OHs brother's hobby) when you picked it up. It's horrible, and I know OHs brother will appreciate it .

Sadly everyone knows what we do so can't 'surprise' anyone, but early days - youngest son may settle down one day and could be unkind and not tell her....

We do it with holiday gifts. My dad held the title for a long time with his shell covered desk calendar, until we went to Rome, nothing beats a 3D moving picture of Jesus

Loving the Jesus pic My best holiday gift was a leaning tower of Pisa statue which has little arms and legs and a top hat, and looks like something from a chorus line ...

OH and I also collect horrible fridge magnets - they have to have a place name on them - I'm particularly fond of a lurid technicolour 'Gift from Eastbourne'.

just been to my sisters.....

I got a grotesque Christmas tree decoration - its so unnerving and weird - brilliant. Plus a romantic book entitled 'blind date marriage' which she got free with a magazine.

The most awful and horrendous present I got, was Tottenham Hotspur packet of two thongs................ particularly awful as am an Arsenal supporter! The most awful thing is - these damn thongs were from my niece - who is also an Arsenal supporter (she's away in Germany at mo but may throttle her when she gets back!).

Think the thongs win this year as being the most bad taste.

I'm plotting already.................:D
