Hi this is a really stupid question...
but... it says
Top-up £15-£29 and get 100 free anytime mins each month
Does this mean that they dont take any of my top up for the free calls? The credit just stays on my phone? but I get free calls?
I am new to all this and was on contract b4.

your not paying to get the free calls,
But you are paying between £15 to £29 to get these inclusive not free minutes. If you did not pay that amount you would not get them.
But as you point out you still have the £15/£29 to spend as you wish.
If the Op is spending that sort of money she would probaly be better off using a cheaper supplier.Especially if she is making x-net calls at 40p a minute after the 100 minutes have been used up.;)0 -
I figure that I will stick at the 100 mins per month then I can hopefully if I understand correctly but a bolt on of 50 texts @ £3.99 so basically 100 mins and 50 text cost me £3.99 pcm and the rest of my credit can stay on phone phone each month as a build up for emergencies, sometimes I get caught having to use my phone a fair amount, I was on contract with voda up until 23rd so have a fair idea of how much I use a month.Debt free and plan on staying that way!!!!0

If you use your mobile mainly in your home postcode area, for a £10 top up, you can get 500 free minutes to o2 mobiles and landlines, with this tariff, you also get to keep the £10 as credit, this would replace your 100 minutes free "freebie" though.
If most of your contacts use o2, there is a bolt on that will give you 1000 minutes/txts to up to 10 other o2 numbers, this costs £5 a month, the 1000 units as o2 calls it works like this, if you send a txt then that counts as 1 unit,
and 1 minute of call time counts as 1 unit.
You can change what your "freebie" is on your phone.
Also, you can sign up for o2 rewards, that gives you back 10% of your top ups every 3 months, and after 6 months you can sign up to o2 treats, that gives you various treats, depending on how much you top your phone up by, treats include free minutes, free txts, free voicemail, you usually get a choice of 3 treats at a time to pick one from.0
