Hi - I had the same problem at Thruscross Reservoir with Minster Baywatch.  Appeal denied even though proof of payment sent.  I left a negative Trustpilot review on Yorkshire Waters Site and received a reply within the hour.  Give it a try as someone called Jason from Cust Care/Services got the PCN withdrawn and agreed with me that it was unethical to treat people in this way when they have clearly paid.  He promised to get the machines checked also but I fed back that YW need to stop using such companies to act on their behalf.  Give it a try and good luck.
