No, I expect it's merely a !!!!-up, not a "scam".
You should probably change that - intentionally misspelling words to get around the naughty word filter can earn you a slap on the wrist (maybe even a ban).

Only if I'm trying to use them in an offensive context, surely?
I think that's for the mods to decide - just says "We use profanity filters and will act against those trying to work around"

But if it censors !!!!!!-up then it's probably best to let it censor it.
It also censors stop !!!!!! (which Martin himself regularly works around in the newsletter...) and Tom !!!!!! and Harry, I don't think it minds references to Scunthorpe or fags though...

I suspect a polite and well-worded complaint to the store manager will see you get a voucher for your trouble.  Go in there shouting about a massive scam and I suspect they'll make the decision about your future custom for you.
    I'd do this ^^^.
And if that didn't work, I'd escalate it.
If it had happened to me, I would have challenged it in store (not just 'went off') and asked to see a more senior member of staff.

FTR, I think the use of 'scam' is used way too much on here.
This point has been made many times.
Almost all the threads that say it's a scam are nothing of the kind.

Is this not a massive scam when they are fully aware the coupon won't scan but they fail to inform customers? A sign at the pizza counter maybe? Or pull the coupons from the app? They're literally luring you in with a promise, knowing people will probably grab some more bits and then you probably don't even have the option to return a custom made counter pizza either?

ASDA have been poor in dealing with this.
But it isn't a scam. Not even a little one.
