If it was me I would have refused to pay for my shopping, walk out and never darken their shop again. That would show them.

Oh good grief, a load of self-righteous posters moaning that something doesn't fit their specific definition of scam. OK, so this wasn't designed as a scam by Asda, but the fact is that the store could have done a lot more to alert people of the problem.
The board doesn't exist simply for your benefits. Criticising and mocking posters, because other posters have asked something similar. What pathetic behaviour.4 -
The store staff have the ability to mark down merchandise, they should have resolved this by doing so. "Nothing we can do" is not correct, "We've decided not to help as so many are coming in with this problem, and we have to refund the item, then re-sell at a lower price and we can't be bothered/are too busy to do this." Is what they meant to say.Complain to head office, the in store team need to do better.Mr Generous - Landlord for more than 10 years. Generous? - Possibly but sarcastic more likely.1

@ThumbRemote it's a problem though. When people shout scam etc when it's not then genuine scams get overlooked. And what better way to bring the problem to light than with humour as long as it not nasty or directed at someone.

Well it would make sense wouldn't it! Sadly service has gone out the window at the supermarkets and people are so stuck in their well trodden corridors they just don't seem to see it, in fact most seem more interested in arguing with their fellow man.snekmode37 said:A sign at the pizza counter maybe?

In Tesco, when we pointed out wring price labels on a shelf the manager agreed but said they were told by head office what to put and were not able to change it!0

Only if I'm trying to use them in an offensive context, surely?Ergates said:
You should probably change that - intentionally misspelling words to get around the naughty word filter can earn you a slap on the wrist (maybe even a ban).user1977 said:No, I expect it's merely a !!!!-up, not a "scam".1 -
I think that's for the mods to decide - just says "We use profanity filters and will act against those trying to work around"user1977 said:
But if it censors !!!!!!-up then it's probably best to let it censor it.0
