How to see state pension regular payments online

When someone starts to get the state pension, is there part of HMRC online where you can see payment dates, amounts & the bank account it will be paid into? I was expecting to find it in the personal tax account but it's not there.
Thanks

Nope.  That would be something DWP would have to provide as they pay the pension, it's not anything to do with HMRC.

It’s easy to work out as it is paid every 4 weeks, on a Tuesday I think. They should write to you every year giving you a figure too.

just check it on your bank statement - it is every 4 weeks so easy to work out when the next one will be.

the account will be the one you told them to use - all the info is in the letter they send you when you have applied for your pension

The following is a link to a new service where you can manage your state pension.

    Manage your State Pension - GOV.UK (manage-state-pension.service.gov.uk)

Your payment day depends on your National Insurance number.

But you have to be invited to use it, if not it doesn't work even if you manage to log into the service.

  • Thanks everyone. My husband deferred his state pension for 5 years and claimed it recently. We were advised by letter to expect two payments about a week apart. We have received those payments although the amounts were more than stated in the letter. We were expecting the regular four weekly payments to start but it hasn't quite been four weeks since the last of the two lump sum payments was received. I think we will have to call them to clarify the discrepancy in what's been paid.

    Grateful for any further insight!

Perhaps wait for the next payment and see if things then look 'right'. If not, that might be the time to give them a call to clarify.

Out of curiosity, I've just given it a go. When asked how you heard about the service, tick the box 'letter from the State Pension Team' and you can then register (no need for any info from the 'letter').

Gives exactly the info OP is asking for (the next line shows the amount of the next payment, followed by other info - not included in the screenshot for obvious reasons!):
